Washington State · Families & family court
A guide for Washington families in family court.
WA Family Guide helps parents understand the custody and parenting-plan process and find affordable help. Through an Indigo Unlimited fund, we pay vetted Limited License Legal Technicians (LLLTs) and family-law attorneys directly so eligible low-income families can get professional help they couldn't otherwise afford.

How it works
How it works for families
Step 1
Tell us about your situation
Fill out a short request form. It takes about five minutes. Please don't send court documents yet.
Step 2
We review your request
We look at household size, income and the type of case. Every request is reviewed individually.
Step 3
We match you with a vetted partner
If you qualify, we assign your case to an approved LLLT or family-law attorney. You talk with them directly.
Step 4
The fund pays the partner
Approved costs are paid by Indigo Unlimited straight to your partner. Money never passes through families.
